One World Medical Centre Limited is situated in Calgary, AB and is hiring a Family physician to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Shift timings include: Morning, Day, Evening, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must collect medical information from patients, family members, or other medical professionals.
• The candidate must examine patients’ health conditions to identify diseases and injuries.
• The candidate must help patients develop healthy habits, break old habits, and reshape their approach to wellness.
• The candidate must order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment.
• The candidate must prescribe and administer medications and treatments.
• The candidate must advise patients on health care.
• The candidate must supervise staff.
• The candidate must report births, deaths, contagious, and other diseases to government authorities.
• The candidate must coordinate or manage primary patient care.
• The candidate must provide acute care management.
• The candidate must provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
• The candidate must provide emergency care when required.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a clinic.
