Job Description

  • The candidate must interview clients to obtain employment history, educational background, and career goals.
  • The candidate must interview clients, prepare case histories and assess presenting problems.
  • The candidate must refer clients to appropriate external services.
  • The candidate must identify barriers to employment and assist clients with job readiness skills, job search strategies, rΓ©sumΓ© writing, and interview preparation.
  • The candidate must perform administrative tasks.
  • The candidate must advise employers on human resource and employment-related issues.
  • The candidate will be responsible for providing established workers with information and strategies to address job dissatisfaction, navigate mid-career changes, and adjust to workplace transitions.
  • The candidate must follow up on counseling program results and client adjustments.
  • The candidate must provide established workers with strategies for job retention and advancement within an organization.
  • The candidate must identify additional or alternative services and provide appropriate referrals.
