Silver Dragon Restaurant in Banff, AB is inviting applications for the position of Cook. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Overtime required, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, To be determined, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and food items.
• The candidate must prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
• The candidate must inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
• The candidate must order supplies and equipment.
• The candidate must maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
• The candidate must clean kitchen and work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• Equivalent experience is acceptable.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
