Active Mechanical Service Ltd. is situated in Edmonton, AB and is hiring a Construction site supervisor to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare production and other reports.
• The candidate must supervise workers and oversee projects.
• The candidate must coordinate and schedule activities effectively.
• The candidate must recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions.
• The candidate must train or arrange for training of staff.
• The candidate must set up machines and equipment.
• The candidate must estimate costs and materials.
• The candidate must ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• The candidate must recommend personnel actions.
• The candidate must requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• The candidate must lead and instruct individuals.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in the installation process to set up large-scale, mixed-media constructions, often designed for a specific location or time period.
• The candidate must work in a commercial setting that fosters a workforce of highly competent, respectful, mature, and accountable employees working toward a common goal.
• The candidate should be involved in the maintenance, repair, and maintenance of machines, mechanical equipment, and buildings.
• The candidate must work in residential settings, performing tasks on one-, two-, and three-family dwellings.
• The candidate must focus on repair work, restoring damaged, deteriorated, or broken items to good condition.
• The candidate must work in a service environment, performing job duties within the setting, social interactions, and physical conditions required by the role.
• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
