Construction site foreman/woman

YNSE LABOUR CORP. ( 5650 Yonge Street suite 18th floorNorth York, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Construction site foreman/woman. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Day, Weekend, Shift, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must recommend measures to improve productivity.
• The candidate must resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• The candidate must oversee apprenticeship training.
• The candidate must coordinate and schedule activities effectively.
• The candidate must co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers.
• The candidate must ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• The candidate must establish methods to meet work schedules efficiently.
• The candidate must supervise workers and oversee projects.
• The candidate must train or arrange for training of staff.
• The candidate must interpret blueprints, specifications, standards, and written technical instructions.
• The candidate must supervise other technical support workers in the group.
• The candidate must read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables.

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.
• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate will be required to work in confined spaces.

Work Setting

• The candidate's relocation costs should be covered by the employer, allowing the employer to contribute to the employee's relocation costs incurred in moving closer to the company's offices or other work locations as required.
