Construction painter

KP Contracting Group Inc in North York, ON is inviting applications for the position of Construction painter. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare, clean, and sand surfaces prior to painting.
• The candidate must repair cracks and holes in walls, floors, or surfaces.
• The candidate must mix paint to achieve the desired color and texture.
• The candidate must measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
• The candidate must advise consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings.
• The candidate must erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging.
• The candidate must apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
• The candidate must supervise material handlers and helpers.

• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.

• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
