Cashier

Gregoire Liquor Store in Fort McMurray, AB is inviting applications for the position of Cashier. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate the cash register accurately.
• The candidate must scan items.
• The candidate must tabulate total payment for goods or services required.
• The candidate must receive payment for goods or services.
• The candidate must calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales.
• The candidate must perform suggestive selling.
• The candidate must stock shelves and clean counter areas.
• The candidate must greet customers.
• The candidate must wrap or place merchandise in bags.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
