VEP Mechanical Ltd is situated in Dartmouth, NS and is hiring a Carpenter, shipbuilding to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Morning, Day, Weekend.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in construction trades and crafts, including bricklaying, stonemasonry, carpentry, joinery, demolition, electrical work, painting and decorating, plumbing, scaffolding, steeple jacking, and wall and floor work.
• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
• The candidate must work in renovation to repair, update, or improve residential or commercial properties, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications.
• The candidate must work in a commercial setting that fosters a workforce of highly competent, respectful, mature, and accountable employees working toward a common goal.
• The candidate must work in marine works to construct, maintain, or repair marine infrastructure and equipment.
• The candidate must work in millwork or prefabrication shopwork to cut, assemble, and finish building components.
