UVic Properties is situated in Victoria, BC and is hiring a Bookkeeper to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Work schedule: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must calculate and prepare cheques for payroll.
• The candidate must keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
• The candidate must maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
• The candidate must post journal entries.
• The candidate must prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
• The candidate must prepare tax returns.
• The candidate must reconcile accounts.

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
• The candidate must be accurate.
