24 Years of Canadian Employment
In 2001, when the internet was still new to most Canadians, Canada Job Centre opened its doors online with a simple mission — make it easier for Canadians to find work, and for employers to find the right people.

Where It All Started — September 22, 2001
This is what Canada Job Centre looked like on launch day — captured by the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine on Saturday, September 22nd 2001. At the time, Google was just three years old, Facebook didn’t exist, and LinkedIn had not yet launched.
